戻 (Kanji for return)

戻す is different from the other return (返す): 戻す means to go back to a former state, or to physically go back somewhere, or to put your own hand lotion back were you got it. 返す is more precise, meaning, to return something which you borrowed (the back massager) to the person you borrowed it from (your Mom).
