behavior/ action

(たいど) An attitude/manner (defiant, peaceful, etc.) or stance (anti-trade, pro-shinto, anti-corporate). When it comes to the first meaning, 態度 is something you can tell just by looking at the person – they might not be doing it intentionally.

姿(しせい) Posture, both literal and figurative. Unlike the related word 態度one’s 姿勢 is always intentional – something one consciously adopts.

(こうどう) One’s behavior. Can be used in a good or bad way.

(こうい) One’s behavior. Basically the same as 行動, but a little more formal. Usually used in newspapers or discussions of trials.
